In two weeks time I will be heading back to Africa for another photography safari. Once I meet my traveling companions in Sydney (most of which I have never met) we will be heading off to Botswana. During this trip we will be visiting several locations in the Kalahari Desert, the world's largest continuous mantle of sand. We will have an opportunity to meet with the San (Bushmen) and learn about this remarkable area. It is an experience I am really looking forward to. We will also spend several days in the Okavango Delta, the world's largest inland delta. I didn't have the opportunity to visit the Okavango Delta when I visited Botswana in 2009, so I am excited that I will see it during this trip. Once again, I'll be sharing some of the images that I capture during the trip upon my return.

This afternoon I am embarking on another trip to Africa. I will be meeting some of my fellow travelers in Sydney before we fly off to spend the next two weeks in Kenya and Tanzania. I am looking forward to photographing some wildlife and magnificent scenery, making some new friends (and catching up with some old friends) and having some time to relax. I'll be sharing some of the images that I capture upon my return.

Arts Freedom Australia Protest Rally

Posted: Craig (21 August 2010)

On 29 August 2010 I will be attending the Arts Freedom Australia protest rally at Campbell's Cove in Sydney. If you are a photographer (of any skill level) or simply an admirer of photography why not come along and show your support as we fight to eliminate the unfair policies and laws that are being imposed on photographers.

Outback Bound - Visit to the Northern Territory

Posted: Craig (9 July 2010)

Between 11 July 2010 and 18 July 2010 I will be visiting many popular and some not-so popular locations around Alice Springs and Uluru. It has been several years since my last visit to the Northern Territory as I have been traveling abroad of late. I am feeling quite positive about the trip and believe that with the recent rainfalls in the area there will be many photo opportunities.
